As we reflect on the incredible growth and momentum of our city, it’s exciting to celebrate that Leander has been recognized as the #2 Best Place to Live in Texas and #8 in the Nation! These rankings are a testament to the people, businesses, first responders, educators, and community leaders who continue to shape the heart of who we are. The heart of Leander!❤️💪

As part of Leander’s Celebration of America’s 250th, we are inviting Leander residents to assist us in shining a spotlight on active duty military members and veterans in our community to honor our hometown military heroes.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women in our community who love, guide, support, and uplift the next generation. 💐

Today, we celebrate not only mothers, but also the amazing grandmothers, aunts, sisters, mentors, godmothers, teachers, and family friends who help raise and shape the children in our village. Your care, sacrifice, wisdom, and encouragement leave a lasting impact every single day.

Thank you for the bedtime stories, the school pickups, the life lessons, the warm hugs, the prayers, and the countless acts of love that often go unseen. Our community is stronger because of the women who step in, show up, and pour into others with compassion and grace.
