A high wind watch has been issued for parts of coastal Maine for Friday. A low-pressure system will bring rain and strong winds starting Friday morning, with gradually improving conditions late Friday night. Remember, a high wind watch means wind gusts could reach 58 mph or greater at any time, or sustained winds of 40 mph for an hour or longer. This high wind watch could result in a high wind warning for some, and wind advisory for others as we get closer to the event. Please stay up to date at www.weather.gov/gyx
