!! SCAM ALERT !!

The Russell County Sheriff's Office would like to make the public aware of a scam. The scammer has created a fake document from the Russell County Circuit Court stating Order of Arrest for Failure to Appear. The document does have the Russell County Circuit Court name and Russell County Sheriff's Office name with the correct address to the Sheriff's Office, the document may also have your name on it. Attached is a picture of the fake document.

The Russell County Sheriff's Office will never request or accept any payments that are due to any court and will not request or accept any payments in lieu of arrest. If you are sent this scam or believe you have been scammed, please contact the Russell County Sheriff's Office 276-889-8033.
