Today is the last day to vote early! 🇺🇸

Yesterday was one of the most special moments of this campaign. My daughter became a first-time voter, and seeing her cast her very first ballot knowing her mother was on it is a memory I’ll treasure forever.

Moments like that remind me why I decided to run—to help build a stronger future for our children and our community.

To everyone who has already voted for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, encouragement, and belief in me mean more than words can express. I don’t take this opportunity lightly. It is truly an honor to have my name on the ballot and to have the chance to serve this community.

If you haven’t voted yet, today is the last day for early voting. I would be truly honored to earn your vote.

Early voting is officially underway, and I’d like to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

My name is Keilonda McCathern, and I am asking for your vote for Wilson County Commissioner, District 24.

I am a proud wife and mother of three amazing children who inspire me every day to work toward a brighter future for our community.

I chose to run because I saw the concerns of our citizens and knew I wanted to be part of the solution. I also want to encourage more people—especially younger generations—to become involved in the voting process. Your voice matters, your vote matters, and together we can shape the future of Wilson County.

My professional background includes experience in planning, purchasing, and data analytics. Combined with my associate degree, I am prepared to bring thoughtful planning, accountability, and a fresh perspective to county government.

I believe growth is a positive thing—but only when it is planned responsibly and guided by the voices of the people it affects. Every resident deserves to be heard, and every decision should reflect the best interests of our community.

I am especially passionate about investing in our children and supporting education. They are our future, and we have a responsibility to provide them with every opportunity to succeed.

This campaign has never been about politics—it’s about people. It’s about listening, serving, and making decisions that strengthen our community today while protecting it for generations to come.

Good morning early voting starts today.

Lebanon has a very low percentage turnout when it comes to local elections. These are very important. These are the people who will make decisions when it comes to your children, houses being built, infrastructure. You deserve to be in that decision making. This is the time to actually look into your candidate don’t just vote Democrat or Republican make sure that candidate fits your morals and values.

Your voice being heard starts with a vote.

You will need a TN or Federally-issued Photo ID to vote:

All 4 locations will be open M-F 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat 8:00am-1:00pm

While I was out today getting my remaining signatures meeting my community it amazes me how many people do not know who their commissioner is and to be honest I didn’t until I decided to run. That’s one thing I would like to change for the people of District 24. We deserve to know who represents us. During my campaign I want to be able to meet as many people as I can. If you are out and about today I would love to meet you and gain your signature.

I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Wilson County Commission, District 24. I have decided to run Independent because I truly believe in People over Party. I know this journey will not be easy, but I’m giving this my all because I’m dedicated to supporting and being a voice for the people of Lebanon.

Our little town is growing and changing very fast and with that growth comes incredible opportunities. I want to help ensure every voice is heard, every person feels seen and supported no matter the political affiliation. I’m energized, hopeful, and ready to pour my heart into this work.

In the coming weeks I will be launching a website with ways you can stay up to date, donate, and be part of the journey. I can’t wait to take these next steps together.
