Hive check
After the really cold spell I decided to check the hives.. unfortunately one froze… winters hard on a hive… but I gave them a little extra to keep them going… come on spring… and if anyone sees a swarm let me know… I’m looking to replace the ones I lost!

It’s a hot one out there… these 90 degree humid days are not a beekeepers friend! Even though I was up and at it at 7am in the 74 degree heat it took me 3 hours to check and pull frames… so I felt it!

It was a hot one today… the girls are getting some air… I was worried they were swarming but no swarm cells that I see… and they are pretty hard to miss.
