I just read the article that the Supervisors were hearing arguments about taking control of the Library System. I am staunchly opposed to this proposition. Our Library System is a gem in Loudoun County used to educate our children at a time where parents are doing most of that, engage our citizens at a time where individuals need it, and broaden horizons during a time where we desperately need more of that. The Supervisors have shown in the past to not understand nor value these needs by closing our local library. As your constituent, I am voicing my support of the Loudoun Library Board of Trustees to keep them in control of the library system and to limit Supervisor involvement with the running of it.
