Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps

Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps Medical and non medical volunteers assisting the health department. The MRC unit in Loudoun was formed in November 2003 to improve the county's ability to respond to public health emergencies, whether naturally occurring or man-made.
(7)

Medical and non-medical volunteers assist the Health Department in preparing for the possibility of opening emergency mass vaccination and medication dispensing clinics. MRC members can also assist with other public health responses in our community and have the opportunity to be trained in CPR and First Aid if they so desire. The MRC is currently coordinated by Francis Rath and is a component of the health department.

Operating as usual
