Before you take the bus this morning, please be reminded that face coverings are now required on all Loudoun County buses and in our waiting areas. Our drivers have disposable masks for riders, but supplies are very limited. Please be prepared and bring your own.

Starting tomorrow, face coverings are required on our buses and in waiting areas.
Loudoun County and the rest of Northern Virginia will enter Phase 1 of the Commonwealth’s Forward Virginia plan tomorrow, Friday, May 29, 2020. As part of this plan, Governor Northam issued Executive Order 63 highlighting the use of face coverings. Until further notice, all transit patrons in Loudoun County must cover their mouth and nose with a face covering at all train stations and bus stations, and on intrastate public transportation, including buses, rideshares, trains, taxis, and cars for hire, as well as any waiting or congregating areas associated with boarding public transportation.

Metrorail’s Platform Improvement Project will close all Orange and Silver Line Metrorail Stations west of Ballston and suspend Silver Line service. Loudoun County’s Metro Connection Bus Routes 901 and 902 have moved temporarily from the West Falls Church Metrorail Station to the Ballston Metrorail Station. Metrorail’s Platform Improvement Project will begin on May 23, 2020 and will close all Orange and Silver Line Metrorail Stations west of Ballston and suspend Silver Line service. Bus service to the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station will continue with pick-up and drop-off at the South bus bays. Information and updates regarding the County's Metro Connection Bus Route 901/902 temporary schedule, which begins February 24, 2020 and ends when the Metro Platform Improvement Project no longer impacts orange and silver line service. Metro estimates a September 2020 completion for the project.
