Chance of Thunderstorms increase Sunday and Monday over NW and N ZDC. The greatest chance will be Tuesday with a cold frontal passage.

Much warmer, but gusty conditions expected this afternoon over the mid - Atlantic. Southwest winds with gusts between 20-30kt expected.

Areas of rain across the N half of ZDC and/or areas of a rain/snow mix (far N ZDC) gradually end this morning. Areas of moderate icing below FL220 will also gradually end across the N half of ZDC as the pcpn diminishes.

The weather forecast for air travel this week along the East coast should be uneventful. A cold front is forecast to track across the Mid-Atlantic area Wednesday for showers in the morning and windy in the afternoon.

Another VFR day for ZDC as A.M. fog and low CIGS burn off. Look for conditions to change late Monday and Tuesday as a cold front pushes through ZDC airspace.
