We put up a good fight but came a few votes short of making it out of the primary.

I’d like to thank all those who supported me and my campaign. I would like to thank all those who endorsed me. All those who “liked” and “shared” my messaging. All thse who were willing to put my sign in their yard. I truly do appreciate it

Good luck to Stacy and Steve as they move forward.

I will continue to fight to make public education better. I will continue to support and love ALL students. I will continue to support our professional educators and will fight to make Aspen Peaks the best school district possible.

I am writing to offer my enthusiastic endorsement of David McArthur for Seat Two on the school board. I have had the privilege of knowing the McArthur family for over 20 years, and during that time, I have come to deeply admire their integrity, work ethic, and commitment to our community.

As an educator by profession I understand how critical it is to have leaders on the school board who truly value education, support teachers, and keep the best interests of students at the forefront of their decisions. David McArthur is exactly that kind of leader.

He is thoughtful, approachable, and principled. He listens with empathy, asks the right questions, and seeks common-sense solutions that serve families, educators, and students alike. David brings a balanced and practical approach to leadership, grounded in community values and a desire to see all children succeed.

I wholeheartedly support David McArthur’s candidacy for Seat Two. I believe he will be a strong advocate for our schools and a steady, collaborative presence on the board.

As a teacher in Alpine, I know that Davy will take care and concern to make sure the new district policies will help teachers, students, and families in this area. It’s time to VOTE! Primary elections are Tuesday, August 12! Drop your ballots in the official ballot box located south of the police station (it’s most likely too late to mail them in and be counted).

The first time I met Davy, I was moving and in need of service and he was the first to jump in and get things going. The past 15 years of knowing him have been no different.

Davy naturally sees a need in any situation and leads by example to make things happen and solve the problem. He is a natural leader for any office but will be an especially good member of an inaugural school board. He is knowledgeable on issues facing education and considerate of the multiple opinions involved in each of those issues. Our new district needs Davy!

When I think of Davy McArthur, character traits like respectful, honest, and kindness come to mind. Davy has a calm, deliberate and practical approach to problem solving. These are attributes that will serve him and all of us well if Davy is a member of our school board.

Davy has been our neighbor for over 20 years and has been nothing but respectable and hard working. He knows our community and is eager to serve and support us in a respectable way.

Throughout my teaching career, of more than 26 years, I've seen how important it is to have steady, supportive, practical and approachable leadership. I believe Davy McArthur exhibits these attributes and will put them to work on behalf of teachers, administrators, staff, and most importantly our students!

I have been an educator in the Alpine School District for 35 years. During that time I have seen first-hand the importance of having strong and responsive School Board members. This is even more crucial as the Aspen Peaks School District begins a new era in public education in our community. The decisions made by our very first school board will have implications for generations to come.

I have known David McArthur and his family for many years and have great respect for them. I encouraged David to become a candidate for school board because I trust him to make decisions that will affect my career, the education of all students (including our grandchildren) and our taxes. David recognizes that student learning is at the center of our educational system and will make decisions to support the growth of all students. He will also support patrons and employees with his great listening skills and work ethic. I hope you will join me in supporting David McArthur's candidacy for Aspen Peaks School Board.

Keep an eye on your mailbox. Once you receive your ballot you can fill it out and return it through one of the 28 Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout Utah County. For location information visit: https://vote.utahcounty.gov/voting-locations

If you wish to use the postal service to return your ballot, make sure to mail it early! It must be received by our office by 8PM on election day!
