The Lenox Iowa Police Department is composed of Chief Jon Huggins, Officers Josh Lynn, Chris Brooks, part time officers Sam Pitt, Ed Douglas and Christian Dekker. We provide 24/7 coverage to our community. If we are not in the office to answer the phone, it will automatically forward to the Taylor County Dispatch Center. This page is intended to provide the ability for the Police department to present news and information to the citizens we serve. It also provides people the ability to ask questions or provide information to the officers of the department. All comments MUST be posted in English. Anyone who posts inappropriate comments or material to this page, as determined by the Chief of Police, will have those comments removed. If you find your comment removed and post additional similar comments you will be immediately banned.All persons arrested who are posted on this page are considered innocent until proven guilty In accordance with the open records of Iowa Law, all criminal charges are considered public record. As such, the names, photos when available and charges filed against all persons will be published on this page. It is the policy of the Lenox Police Department that when charges are filed in juvenile incidents, the public will be notified of the age, sex and city of residence of the juvenile charged. The name of the juvenile will be withheld. This policy does not apply to juveniles charged with crimes that are considered to be violent felonies.
