Unfortunately, the AHTN His & Hers Bingo scheduled for this Saturday, July 22nd has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The new date has been scheduled for October 7th. The location and time remain the same. We are hoping that you are able to still attend, as this event is our sole fundraiser to be held this year and funds our 4 missions that benefit those in need. Your tickets will be valid on the new date. All ticket holders were sent an email this morning with the option for a refund if the new date doesn't work for you. This was not an easy decision for us and we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We thank you in advance for supporting AHTN, this event and those in need!

Thank you to Yardley United Methodist Church and My Calling! for your service of washing our Code Blue guest cots today. 😁

It was definitely a hot one, but this group did a fantastic job making sure each and every cot was clean & disinfected before putting them away.

We also would like say Thank you to Emmaus Road Lutheran Church for allowing us to use their water to hook up our hoses along with access to the bathrooms.

None of what AHTN does is possible without the support of our community & volunteers. We are extremely grateful for all the support given to us today! 💙

AHTN has interfaith partnerships with many houses of worship in Lower Bucks and their volunteers so that we can deliver our missions. AHTN’s Wheels to Meals mission https://www.ahtn.org/wheels-to-meals partners with over 35 different houses of worship that have their volunteers prepare meals for the homeless community every day of the year.

Many houses of worship are offering sit-down community meals at their house of worship. AHTN volunteers pick our homeless friends and bring them to the community meal so they get a nutritious hot meal and socialization. Some houses of worship are choosing to still make “to go” meals so our AHTN volunteer drivers pick up the meals and deliver them to our homeless friends at various Lower Bucks locations.

This partnership ensures that our homeless friends get a meal every day of the year. Please consider donating to AHTN, so we can continue to transport our friends to these meals: https://ahtn.networkforgood.com/projects/172905-lendahelpinghand

Thankful for the warmer weather today as our volunteers helped to move all our Code Blue supplies from our December shelter location at Shir Ami to our January site at Woodside Church. This isn't an easy task, so we are grateful to each of them for giving their time today to help us with this move!

Currently the overnight temps the next few nights will be above our requirements, so the shelter will be closed January 2nd to the 4th. For more info about CB: https://www.ahtn.org/code-blue-1

AHTN is partnering with Woodside Church in Yardley to be our January Code Blue host. Woodside Church volunteers work together with AHTN to make sure that our homeless friends have a safe and warm shelter on freezing nights during the winter. Last Code Blue season we were open 26 nights. It takes 18 volunteers to open one night of Code Blue so that is a lot of dedication on the part of our volunteers. Do you consider yourself a night owl or an early bird?

AHTN is currently in need of Volunteers to help with our Overnight Volunteer positions at our Code Blue shelter. If you like to stay up late or tend to wake up early- please consider volunteering your time this winter!

Overnight Volunteer hours are 10:30pm to 2:30am for 1st shift Overnight team. 2:30am to 7:00am are the hours needed for 2nd shift team. Each shift has 2 volunteers, so you would never be working alone.

New Volunteer training is done through an online webinar, so you can watch the training video when the time is right for you. (Even if that means overnight!) 😉 Background check and signed Volunteer agreements are also needed before you can register for Volunteer positions.

For more information about joining AHTN's Volunteer team and to learn how to get started is on our website: https://www.ahtn.org/volunteer-with-ahtn

The Code Blue shelter operates from December 1st through March 31st. Without the support of our volunteers, the shelter doors cannot open for those in need. Please consider giving the gift of your time in 2023!

Did you know that AHTN has been working with various Houses of Worships and other groups throughout the Pandemic to ensure that no one goes without a meal each day? Just last year our Volunteers served 9782 meals to those in need.

Its because of the support from the community that we are able to continue with our missions. We hope that you will consider making a donation to AHTN on this Giving Tuesday to ensure that no one goes hungry.

Be sure to check Ahtn.org for daily shelter status. If you would like to Volunteer with AHTN, click on GET INVOLVED to learn how to get started!

Please consider becoming an AHTN volunteer: https://www.ahtn.org/volunteer-with-ahtn

AHTN is partnering with Shir Ami, a synagogue in Newtown, to be our Code Blue winter shelter host for the month of December.

On Christmas Eve, AHTN will work hard to secure the 18 volunteers that is necessary to open the Code Blue shelter for that evening. Shir Ami will prepare a nice holiday meal and offer prayer for our homeless guests and volunteers who have secured the warm shelter and prepared a nutritious dinner.

In the spirt of giving around the holidays, please consider donating to AHTN so we can continue to run all of our missions:
