Chris, my mom, and I have already been hot on the campaign trail this morning, meeting folks from across our district right at their doorstep. There’s no better way to connect with our community than by listening, hearing what matters most, and earning your support one conversation at a time!

Caring for an aging loved one shouldn’t mean choosing between your family and your livelihood.

This week, I was in Frankfort meeting with colleagues across the aisle about ways to support family caregivers and help more Kentuckians age in place. There’s more work to do, and I’m going to keep listening and working to find solutions that work for Kentucky families.

Today marks the 63rd anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

On August 28, 1963, hundreds of thousands of Americans came together to demand jobs, freedom, and equal rights. More than six decades later, the work of building a better country continues. We honor those who marched before us by continuing to push forward.

Governor Beshear came out today against Kentucky’s data center tax incentives, and I’m glad to see this issue getting the attention it deserves.

These incentives were passed by the Republican supermajority, and I voted against them because I believed Kentucky could do better with our tax dollars. While families are struggling with the rising cost of housing, groceries, healthcare, and everyday life, we should be asking whether massive tax breaks for some of the world’s wealthiest corporations are really the best use of our resources.

Today marks 20 years since the crash of Comair Flight 5191.

We remember the 49 people who lost their lives and the families, friends, and loved ones who continue to carry their memories with them. Twenty years later, our community still remembers and honors their lives.

We know the dangers and real impacts social media can have on our kids. As a mother and legislator, I want to make sure today’s children have the protections and safeguards they need to grow up safe.

This settlement is a step toward holding social media companies accountable, but there is still more work to do. I’ll keep fighting for policies that put the safety and wellbeing of Kentucky’s kids first.

Social media giant Meta has agreed to settle a multi-state lawsuit for $17.1 billion and make changes to its platforms, Facebook and Instagram, for children’s safety,

Happy Women’s Equality Day! Today feels especially fitting to share that the Kentucky Women’s Network has endorsed my campaign for re-election.

There’s still work to do in Frankfort to build a Commonwealth where women have the freedom to make their own decisions about their healthcare and are treated equally under the law. I’m ready to keep fighting for it.

Honoring the life and legacy of Dolly Parton, whose greatest gift may be the countless children she helped discover the magic of a good book.

Through the Imagination Library, more than 330 million books have found their way into the hands of children, completely free to their families. That means bedtime stories, new worlds to explore, and the simple joy of having a book of your very own. Dolly reminded us that changing a child’s life can start with something as simple as putting a book in their hands. What an extraordinary legacy!

Kentucky is home to one of our nation’s great treasures: Mammoth Cave National Park.

As we celebrate the 110th anniversary of the National Park Service and kick off National Park Week, it’s worth remembering that protecting our public lands has long been a bipartisan American value. That legacy is worth defending. Our national parks belong to all of us, and we should be doing everything we can to protect these places, not putting them at risk, so future generations can experience them too.

Data centers continue to be an issue I’m hearing about from neighbors across the 93rd District.

I was proud to vote against tax incentives for data center developers in 2025, and I’ll continue listening to the concerns people are raising about their impact on our community.
