Excellent news!

It is high time that conservative voters of Lexington hold our elected representatives accountable for their voting records. Many democrats in our senate have a better record than Katrina Shealy.

Itโ€™s time to get an actual conservative in this seat. God bless you Mr. Kennedy!

(Lexington, S.C) The Lexington County Republican Party (LCRP) conducted a special-called meeting on Friday night and endorsed Carlisle Kennedy for State Senate District 23. The seat is currently held by incumbent Sen. Katrina Shealy. The election between the two is among the races in the Republican Primary Runoffs on Tuesday, June 25th.

โ€œThe mission of our party is to promote our platform and elect candidates who support it,โ€ said Chairman Mark Weber. โ€œTo that end, the LCRP Endorsement Committee felt that the importance and urgency of addressing Senate District 23 warranted a special called meeting.โ€

Weber continued โ€œThe Executive Committee unanimously agreed with the recommendation of endorsing Carlisle Kennedy. Carlisle has made it clear that he will follow the platform of the Republican Party. Meanwhile, the incumbentโ€™s record has been disappointing.โ€

The endorsement for Kennedy comes on the heels of a successful first round of endorsements for the June 11th Republican Primary.

โ€œOur Executive Committee will continue to selectively endorse candidates who support our party platform in some elections,โ€ said Weber. โ€œIn this case, it was a particularly important stand to take as we approach the June 25th primary runoff. As we do with all our endorsements, we will allocate resources and volunteers in support of Carlisle Kennedy.โ€

Early Voting for all partisan runoffs will take place on June 19-21 from 8:30am-5:00pm and from 7:00am-7:00pm on Election Day, June 25th.

Those who participated in the initial Republican Primary or did not vote in either partisan primary may participate in the runoff elections.

The election tomorrow is more important for Lexington than anything that happens in November. The Lexington County Republican Party has assembled a list of excellent endorsements of conservative fighters.

Yโ€™all be sure to get out the vote tomorrow, and invite your friends as well.

God bless you, Lexington!

Excellent!

๐Ÿ‘ Great news!! At Town Council Work Session this evening, Council directed staff to begin publishing itemized expenses beginning this month. This is a win for town residents as they will be able to see exactly where their public funds are spent. We look forward to seeing this level of financial transparency.

Check your precinct location when you vote tomorrow! Some have temporarily changed.

Good evening Lexington!

Now that we are getting to work for the new year, I wanted to share with you the top five items I sent to Mayor Livingston.

Everything I said on the campaign trail, I meant. Hopefully we can get each of these items on the upcoming agendas.

God bless yโ€™all!

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

Good morning Mayor Livingston,

Here is my list of top five priorities going into January. I look forward to working on these with you!

1. Pass ordinance prohibiting all governmental mask mandates, business closures, capacity restrictions (other than fire code) and vaccination requirements.

2. Publish itemized expenditures online going back to 2015. The Town of Lexington is not part of the Comptroller General's program for fiscal transparency. We should do that. The town can participate in the CG program and add it to the town website. https://cg.sc.gov/fiscal-transparency/local-government-spending-transparency

3. Pass ordinance in agreement with Lexington County concurrency factors for reasonable and responsible growth management.

4. End the Hospitality Tax.

5. Address road capacity and traffic flow by replacing the Bluetooth adaptive surveillance system. Review more traditional approaches that prevent the invasion of individual privacy. As part of the plan, remove current traffic cameras.

Thank you!

Will Allen

Thank you to Chairwoman Beth Carrigg and everyone at Lexington County Council for all of your thorough work putting together these ordinances.

Responsible growth must continue to be real policy, not just a talking point.

Lexington County Councilโ€™s move to put restrictions on new apartment complexes and multi-family housing projects received widespread support at a public hearing held Nov. 15.

Thank you to all of the brave men and women who have courageously served our country. We love you, and God bless you!
