We believe without reservation that the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth, and we know that belief carries a debt we can never fully repay: the debt owed to the men and women who gave their lives to preserve it. Because of them, America remains the beacon of hope our Founding Fathers had the courage to imagine.

Today is Memorial Day. We hope you spend it under open skies and with friends and family celebrating but more than anything, please take a moment to stop and remember.

Remember the fallen, those who made the irreversible choice to place their country above themselves. Remember the Gold Star Families carrying that loss every single day. And during Military Appreciation Month, remember our active-duty service members who continue to stand watch on behalf of every one of us.

May we always be a nation worthy of what was given for us. Grateful for the past, clear-eyed about our present, and determined to pass down something worth inheriting.
