📚 We have a challenge for you!

Books don't just belong on shelves and they definitely don't just belong inside the library. We love seeing our community out there living their best reading lives wherever life takes them!

So here's what we want you to do. Snap a photo of where you are reading right now and tag us! The park bench, the back porch, the baseball bleachers, a coffee shop, a road trip, the waiting room... we want to see it ALL. 📸

No fancy setup needed. Just you, your book, and wherever you happen to be.

Drop your photo in the comments or tag us in your post and we will reshare our favorites. Let's show the world that our community loves to read! 🌟

Happy Flag Day! On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress officially adopted the Stars and Stripes as the flag of the United States.

Over 100 years later, a Wisconsin schoolteacher named B.J. Cigrand began urging his students to celebrate "Flag Birthday" on that same date every June. His passion for the flag caught on and in 1949, President Harry Truman signed it into law as National Flag Day.

🔴 Red = valor and bravery
⚪ White = purity and innocence
🔵 Blue = vigilance, perseverance, and justice

The 50 stars represent our 50 states. The 13 stripes honor the original colonies.

Today is a wonderful day to fly your flag, reflect on what it stands for, and appreciate the history stitched into every stripe.

Here at the library, we think stories, in books and in history, are worth remembering.
