Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:10 that true spiritual strength comes from being "in the Lord" - - our spiritual union with Christ, which requires recognizing our own limitations and weaknesses so that God's power can work through us. Are you in a genuine spiritual union with Christ?

Monday's Mandate with FBK: Believers are mandated to be heavenly soldiers in Ephesians 6:11-12 and must be always fully armored and equipped to fight in an invisible, spiritual conflict against unseen demonic forces that cunningly utilize the world and the flesh. Wednesday's Warfare with FBK: To gain victory in our spiritual warfare, Ephesians 6:14-15 commands us to stand firm by spiritually equipping with the Belt of Truth (God's Word), the Breastplate of Righteousness (Christ's) and the shoes of the Gospel of Peace (our saving faith in the good news of our Savior). Are you now equipped with this heavenly uniform?

Thursday's Trust with FBK: The most consequential armor item of the Christian warrior that thwarts the devil's temptations and evil thoughts is the Shield of Faith in Ephesians 6:16, our saving personal Faith in Christ, which means actively trusting in God's character, promises, and truth rather than on our own self. Do you have this saving 'shield of faith'?

Friday's Fight with FBK: To stand firm in God's armor and wield the powerful Sword of the Spirit - the Bible - Ephesians 6:17 tells us to fight wearing the Helmet of Salvation, which protects our mind with the assurance of Christ's perfect faithfulness is His salvation. Do you wear the helmet of this assurance of salvation?
