One year ago today, I asked for your vote, and Libertyville residents placed their confidence in me—I’m truly grateful to serve. When people ask if I enjoy being a Trustee, my answer is an emphatic YES! I didn’t expect how much I’d learn or how inspired I’d be by our dedicated Village employees. I’ve also valued the strong, respectful collaboration with fellow Board members. From major decisions to community events it’s been an incredibly rewarding year.

Over the past year, I’ve connected with residents on issues important to them and hosted open “Trustee Talk” sessions. This year, I hope to do even more by meeting people where they already gather—joining community events and conversations to listen and address questions or concerns. If your group is getting together and has room for me, I’d love the opportunity to join—please let me know!

Come for Trustee Time!

The Village Board would like to improve the way we interact with Libertyville residents. In an effort to be available for questions and comments, one or two Trustees will be available in Cook Park during the Car Fun on 21 events (see dates below) from 7:00 - 8:30. We will either be at a picnic table or folding chairs in Cook Park and eager to have you join us for Trustee Time. Please come see us on one for these dates - we hope to see you there!

Hooray! On Tuesday I was sworn in as Village Trustee. Thanks to all who came to witness/cheer when I took my oath. It was made incredible because you were there! I didn’t know I’d be taking my seat as soon as I was sworn in and it felt great to be there!

I’ll be closing out this campaign page soon and replacing it with something else - I’m learning the navigation of Open Meetings Act/Freedom of Speech makes social media very tricky; I’ve got to determine what that looks like going forward. But I want to be sure I’m communicating with Libertyville residents in an efficient and open manner while I’m serving the community. More to come!

Way to get engaged, Libertyville!! I’ve been to my share of Village Board meetings since summer and it’s typically been just me and maybe a couple others in attendance. Tonight was practically standing room only and voices were heard. Nice work!

Thank you all for your incredible support! While the results will not be official until every mail in ballot is counted, it appears I will be the new Libertyville Village Trustee! I’ve spent the day feeling relieved, surprised, proud, and quite tired.

This victory is not just mine—it's ours. Every step of this campaign has been about listening, learning, and working to build an even stronger Libertyville. I am honored and humbled by your trust, and I will work tirelessly to improve engagement, transparency, safety, and economic development in our Village.

Let's keep moving forward, united in purpose and passion. Together, we will face challenges, celebrate successes, and continue to make our community a place we are ALL proud to call home.

Thank you once again, and let's get to work!

It’s a big day today! No matter the outcome I can proudly say that we gave this thing our all! Thank you to everyone who posted yard signs, signed my petition, wrote postcards, donated stamps, liked and shared my posts, made photos (Gretchen!), created logo/lit/yard sign (Juli!), talked me off a ledge, hosted parties, walked neighborhoods, spoke to residents on my behalf, etc.

#1 priority today is to go out and VOTE and then go play a trick on a friend or family member.

I’ll be out at the polling places today - hope to see you there!

These are 3 of my favorite Libertyville residents. Avery, pictured here as the pink princess, recently asked her mom, Michelle Criswell, if I can run really fast. She’d heard the campaign terms about running in a race and took them as a 5 year old would. ❤️

Smart, brave Avery, this is no 100 yard dash. It’s a marathon and I’m keeping it up until the last vote is cast tomorrow!

I’m happy to share my campaign has been awarded the 2025 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction. As an organization, Moms Demand Action has goals to:

* Keep our families, our schools, and our communities safe from gun violence, which has become the number one cause of death for children and teens in the U.S.
* Fight for gun safety policies that are proven to save lives.
* Support critical, commonsense steps — with strong
bipartisan support — to keep guns out of dangerous hands.

Thank you, Moms Demand Action, for the distinction.
