Hello everyone, today we turned in all the food donations, clothing donations, and proceeds from the race to Sharon Foster, the director of the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry. They were very happy with what we provided! We turned in a check for $1099.38, 18 large bags of clothing, 2 large bags of shoes, and 274 cans of food and other food products, too. Thanks again to everyone that participated and donated. It was a big success! 🙏🏽

Hello Everyone,

We hope you're as excited as we are for race day! We want to take this opportunity to send out some information to help race day go as smoothly as possible.

Location: Piedmont Park near Aquatic Center
Date: November 18, 2017
Time: 12pm
Packet Pickup: 10:30am to 11:30am
Course limit: 1 1/2 hours

Please do you best to be at the packet pickup table early so that you can get your bib and participant t-shirt. Remember to bring a couple of cans goods or non-perishable items as well as articles of clothing that will be donated to the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry. The Co-op asked that you don't bring greens beans since they have too many. Also, they have a big need for male shoes. If you have warm coats or sweaters, they would be great this time of year.

Course Route
The course route is entirely inside Piedmont Park. We will have cones out on the course and also some course marshalls to make sure you don't get lost! But please visit the page where we have the course posted.

Race
At the end of the race, don't forget to pick up your finisher medal when you cross the finish line. Be sure to smile for the camera! We will post free race photos on the page.

There will be two water stations for the race: one out on the course and the other at the finish line. The one on the course will be located right before you run the loop of the Meadow. Please see the map on the page.

We will start the awards ceremony around 12:45pm to 1pm. We will have awards for the top 3 male and female finishers but will also recognize the age group winners.

Safety
We will have a first aid kit located at the packet pickup table if needed. If there are any incidents on the course, our emergency plan filed with the City of Atlanta is to contact 911. Please notify a course marshall or other volunteer for assitance.

Hello everyone! We are less than one week away from the race. Please remember to bring a couple of canned goods or non-perishable food items along with an article of clothing that can be donated to the Lilburn Co-op after the race. We will be collecting these items the morning of the race at packet pickup! Your donations will help many families in need as well as the proceeds from the race. Thank you!

RACE ALERT!!!!! Remember to bring a Canned good/non-parishable and a clothing donation to the race. NOTE the Lilburn Co-op prefers that people do not donate green beanes due to the abundance but preferably jelly. We will also be accepting shoes with the clothing. The Co-op really needs lots of men shoes if you have some laying around the house. Thank you!
