Congratulations to Cathy Richards on her appointment as Assistant Principal at Lilburn Elementary School!

Mrs. Richards has made a lasting impact on students, families, and staff throughout her time at Lilburn Middle School. As our 2025-26 Teacher of the Year and a participant in GCPS's Aspiring Leaders Program, she has demonstrated excellence in the classroom and a commitment to educational leadership.

While we will certainly miss her at LMS, we are excited that she will continue serving students and families at Lilburn Elementary School, where she will have the opportunity to support many future Mustangs before they arrive at LMS.

Congratulations, Mrs. Richards! We are grateful for all you have contributed to Lilburn Middle School and wish you continued success in this well-deserved new role.

La Sra. Richards ha dejado una huella duradera en los estudiantes, las familias y el personal durante su tiempo en la Escuela Intermedia Lilburn. Congratulations to Mrs. Zoe Colon on her well-deserved promotion! 🎉

Mrs. Colon’s positive attitude, friendly personality, and willingness to help others have made a lasting impact on the Lilburn Middle School community. Students, families, and staff know her as someone who is always ready to lend a hand and support those around her.

Today is Mrs. Colon’s last day at LMS. While we will miss her, we are excited for this well-deserved opportunity and know she will continue to make a difference for students and families at Berkmar High School.

Congratulations, Mrs. Colon, and thank you for everything you have done for Lilburn Middle School! 💙

Free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses (if needed) are available for children through Vision To Learn and the Gwinnett County Public Library. Additional appointment dates have been added, but appointments fill up quickly. If your child could benefit from these services, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
