Multiple fire and emergency service agencies from across Harnett County came together this past Saturday at Buies Creek Fire & Rescue for a countywide mutual aid training exercise focused on technical rescue operations.
The training provided responders with hands-on experience in rope rescue systems, knot tying, firefighter rescue techniques, equipment rigging, patient packaging, and other specialized skills utilized by the Harnett County Technical Rescue Team. Exercises emphasized teamwork, interoperability, and the ability to safely and effectively respond to complex rescue incidents anywhere in Harnett County.
Training together strengthens relationships between agencies and ensures personnel can seamlessly operate as a unified team when called upon during emergencies.
