First installment Real Estate Tax due date for 2024 payable 2025 is June 16, 2025

The real estate tax bills were mailed on July 15,2025. We are receiving many returned in the mail. If you have not received your 2024 payable 2025 and you would like one emailed, please contact the Logan County Treasurer Office. If you need a change of address for future bills please contact the Assessor office.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Mobile home payments were due June 2.2025. If paying after June 2 per llinois Mobile Home Act there is a $25 a month penalty up to $100. The penalty must be included with payment.

June 3- July 2, $25
July 3- August 2 $50
August 3 - September 2 $75
September 2- October 3 $100 plus additional fees.

Pay in person at the treasure office.
Pay online at logancountyil.gov
Pay over the phone 217-203-8359
Drop boxes located across from Latham Park and the North and Soutside of the courthouse.

Payments must include stubs from tax bill.

The 2023 payable 2024 Real Estate tax bills are in the mail! Tax due dates for 2024 are June 15 and Sept 2. As a reminder, if these dates fall on a weekend or holiday the due date will be the following business date. Please contact us if you do not receive your bill.

Payment options can be found on the back your bill. Remember to include the payment stub with your payment.

The Logan County Treasurer Office is looking for a full time Deputy Treasurer to join our office.

Duties to include, but not limited to,
General office duties
Daily financial entries and balancing of accounts
Real Estate Tax Collections
Payroll and Insurance

Experience preferred but will train the right person. If you are detail oriented, a quick learner, have experience with Microsoft word and excel and can use an adding machine send resume to [email protected] or bring to our office at the courthouse prior to January 10th, 2024.

Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30.

Starting salary $36,000 and above for experience. Do Benefits include, Health, dental and life insurance, sick and PTO time, paid holidays, IMRF retirement.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Logan County Courthouse and all county offices will be closed Monday, November 6th to allow for the new HVAC electrical upgrades that are a portion of the Logan County Courthouse Restoration Project.

As the Logan County Real Eatate Tax due date of Friday, September 1 approaches we would like to remind everyone no taxes are taken at the courthouse. Our office is temporarily relocated to 628 Broadway Street, please use the rear entrance, off the alley behind the library. For a convenient list of additional locations and drop box options please check out the back of your tax bill.

Thursday, June 1 is the Mobile Home tax due date. To avoid the $25 penalty please pay in person by 4:30 or postmark by June 1. You may also place in the Treasurer Dropbox across from Latham park or on the south side of the courthouse. Drop boxes are checked daily.
