When we started setting up the business side of Autism Support Unit, we knew there would be a lot to learn. Every new step comes with questions, challenges, and sometimes even a few “user error” moments along the way. 😂
During one of those moments, I walked into a U.S. Bank location and was greeted by Erin. From the very beginning, she was professional, patient, and took the time to explain what the next steps would look like and who would be reaching out to help. But what stood out even more was that she wasn’t just helping with a banking question, she was genuinely interested in learning about ASU, our mission, and why we’re doing what we do.
That conversation led to a phone call today with Zach, and I have to say, what started as a quick solution to a technical issue turned into something much more meaningful. Within just a few minutes, he had the problem figured out, but he also took the time to listen as I shared about Autism Support Unit, our goals, and even our upcoming fundraiser event.
For us, this journey has been about so much more than building a business. It has been about the people we meet along the way. The connections, conversations, and support we’ve received have been reminders that this mission is bigger than any one person.
I truly believe God has placed incredible people in our path at exactly the right moments. From community members to businesses, families, and now the people helping us build the foundation of ASU, every connection has been a blessing.
Thank you, Erin, Zach, and the U.S. Bank team for not only helping us with banking, but for taking the time to understand the heart behind Autism Support Unit. We are grateful to have you as part of this journey. 💙
