If we weren't trying to control how someone reacted to us, what would we do differently?
So much of what we do is quiet management. We soften our opinions, hold our tongue, and shrink ourselves a little, hoping that self-denial will nudge a person or situation our way. The letting go begins the moment we release our grip on someone else's response and start speaking and living from what's actually true for us. 💜
