We have big news: the unit has an office on North Sibley Avenue in Litchfield!

From now through October, we will be open 3 days a week. Folks can come to get literature, signs, and visit with fellow DFLers.

Our planned days for the next several weeks:

This message replaces my former message that we weren't able to confirm a spot in the Grove City parade on Aug. 15. GOOD NEWS! Our donkey trailer will be there!! Lineup begins Saturday about 5 p.m. on the west side of town, in the rental housing neighborhood. Parade begins at 5:30!

The Meeker County Fair is July 30-Aug. 2. Be sure to stop by our booth in the East Commercial Building. We are hoping to open a storefront distribution center and meeting spot in downtown Litchfield after the fair; some campaign signs will be at the fair, or sign up to have one brought to your yard.

Litchfield Watercade parade, Sat. July 11, lineup begins at 5 p.m. on Tenth Street in front of the high school. Parade begins at 6 p.m. All endorsed DFL candidates have been invited to participate. Come support them. Both walkers and riders are invited to join the "donkey trailer" unit.
If you have current campaign signs, or issue signs (no profanity, please), bring them. Those wishing to ride instead of walk should bring a folding chair to set on the trailer; a few seats are available in the tow vehicle.

Litchfield,Cosmos, Grove City, Eden Valley and Watkins residents have a great legislative candidate for the 16A seat. The Republican incumbent has publicly stated that he opposes funding for safety net hospitals and emergency rooms that are being short-changed by the federal Medicaid and Medicare cuts. Dave Torgelson can do better.

David is a 34 year resident of the Senate district and a retired attorney from the Renville County attorneys office in Olivia. He is active in many community organizations, including the Renville County historical Society, and the Kiwanis club.
