As of 2026, there are approximately 7.2 million Americans aged 65 and older living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, which are progressive brain disorders that affect memory, thinking, and behavior. The numbers continue to rise, which is why it’s more important than ever for caregivers, families, and professionals to understand and learn how to support those affected.
