Pulaski County Tanker Task Force - Arkansas The PCTTF is a specialized unit designed to enhance firefighting capabilities by providing rapid water supply.

This task force is equipped with multiple tankers from various departments from Pulaski County providing water in rural areas.

On 5/4/26 at 309PM we were dispatched to the area of Jennings road by Arch street fire dept. Upon arrival we dropped 2 tanks and started our water supply. We supplied 34,600 gallons to the fire ground allowing them to even utilize East End Fire Dept ladder truck. Tanker task force stopped operations and went back into service at 551PM

Today the Task Force held a training in Alexander.

Over a 2.5 hour period we moved 32,500 gallons of water. Average return time to dump site from dropping was between 15-17 minutes. All this was possible with only 4 tankers today. We do this to help maintain consistency in hopes we serve all communities when in need!

Burn ban has been lifted for Pulaski County

At 0225 this morning Crystal Fire Department requested the Tanker Task Force for a structure fire on Merry Lane in Little Rock.

With a total of 7 tankers in operation we were able to supply the fire ground with approximately 43,000 gallons of water.

This was thanks to the active departments on the PCTTF and beyond to include tankers from Saline county.
