Tonight didn’t end with the results we had hoped for, but we are deeply grateful for every person who supported, encouraged, prayed for, voted, shared a post, had a conversation, or simply showed kindness throughout this process.

Steven stepped into this race because he genuinely felt led to do so, and regardless of the outcome, we believe obedience matters. We trust that God’s plans are greater than our own and that He is faithful in every season, both the wins and the disappointments.

We want to congratulate Lee Logan on the win, and to say thank you again to this community we love so much. We’ve learned a lot through this experience, felt so much support, and we walk away thankful.

Now… we may disappear for a day or two, eat tacos, and catch up on sleep. ❤️

Because of their sacrifice, we have the privilege to live, to work, to raise our families, and to serve in the ways we can, with the freedom we’ve been given.

As this runoff approaches, I’ve had several people ask me what matters most to me and what I would hope to bring to the role of County Commissioner.

For me, it comes down to serving people with integrity, common sense, and respect.

I believe these positions impact everyday life more than many people realize — from the roads we drive every day to the county services families rely on.

If elected, I want to support:

• Responsible stewardship of county resources
• Maintaining and improving county roads and infrastructure
• Supporting our local hospital and emergency services. I also want to make it clear since there seems to be a little bit of confusion here. I have never had any intentions of removing services that benefit the people of Lamb County. I fully support and greatly appreciate the work these organizations do for our communities.
• Open communication with the community
• Listening carefully before making decisions
• Leading with fairness and accountability

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve this area through my work in providing essential utility services to communities across the county. Through that role, I’ve learned the value of showing up, solving problems, being dependable, and helping people when needs arise. Those experiences have shaped who I am, and I hope to continue serving this community with that same mentality, doing my best to help where I can.

My faith continues to teach me the importance of humility, honesty, and serving others well. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do believe in being willing to listen, learn, and do what’s right for the people of this county.

I appreciate everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me, asked questions, and taken time to be involved in this election process.

Good morning!

We just wanted to jump on here and give you guys an update. First and foremost, we are incredibly grateful this morning—for a new day of life that God has given, and for the encouragement and support from such a beautiful community of people we’ve blessed and humbled by.

With three candidates in the race, no one reached the 51% needed to win outright, which means we are headed to a runoff election in May.

From the beginning, we have prayed for God’s will in this race, and we continue to trust Him completely with the outcome.

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”

Because of that, we move forward with peace, gratitude, and determination.

Thank you again for your encouragement and support.

I’m thankful for the chance to run for something I feel is important, and for the freedom we have in this country to do so. I appreciate every conversation, every prayer, and every bit of encouragement along the way. We’ve got some pretty great people in this community.
