From June 27–July 2, the Department of Water Resources (DWR) will perform seasonally necessary maintenance on State Water Project facilities that supply water to the region. During that time, we’re asking residents and businesses help by reducing outdoor water use during this short period as a proactive measure to preserve supplies for essential needs. It thrives in full sun, requires very little water once established, and features beautiful cup-shaped blooms—usually in light orange, but sometimes in striking pink, white, or purple shades—that hummingbirds and bees love all summer long! 🐝

💡 Pro tip: If it gets a little unruly after flowering, just cut it back to 6 inches for a fresh reset.
