We appreciate the participation of all residents who attended our county event, which proved to be a huge success! Thank you to everyone who brought large items and tires for disposal.

We are also grateful to the volunteers and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for their contributions to making the Free Tire and Large Item Collection a success. This event, hosted by Polk County on March 14, 2026, would not have been possible without your support and Deep East Texas Council of Governments & Economic Development District .
