Today we had a ceremony to push-in our new fire apparatus, Ladder 3. Let’s hope it never has to be used. Thank you to our firefighters, staff and Michigan elected officials who helped secure the majority of the funding for this wonderful fire truck. ❤️
Thank you Senators Dayna Polehanki and Mary Cavanaugh, Representatives Laurie Pohutsky, Stephanie Young and Matt Koleszar for securing a $1,000,000.00 grant to assist in funding this important piece of equipment.

There is a Planning Commission Study Meeting on Tuesday, August 25th, 5th floor City Hall, 7:00pm. The complete agenda and the packet can be found at the link below.

Some items to be discussed are, data centers moratoria, zoning changes for properties on Farmington Road for a 3400 square foot retail development and potential development for ranch style multi-family ranch style dwellings some of the items.

This is an open meeting however, will not be televised.

Thank you Livonia for supporting our first responders, Greenmead and our senior center in overwhelmingly renewing our millages yesterday. Now please support our council to ensure that we spend these funds wisely. Your voice matters.
Remember, council makes sacrifices to work for all of us; these are mine.
I promise you that I will do my best for everyone.

Hello Livonia, I know we have quite a few decisions for tomorrow’s election and I am going to share my thoughts on the Livonia millage renewals. As you may or may not know I am pretty conservative on our spending of the tax payer money as that’s a critical part of our job. The Senior Citizens/Greenmead and Public Safety Millages are critical to all these departments function. Remember it is council’s responsibility to ensure that the money is spent wisely. These funds are to supplement the general fund, it will not and cannot be used for buildings.
VOTE YES!!!!!

Pat and I were honored to represent the City of Livonia at the 177th Highland Games at Greenmead for the opening ceremonies. Some members of the Livonia Fire Department joined in again for the tug of war; not a trophy winner this year but they definitely had fun!
