Utah Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter

The Utah KD Alumnae Chapter is comprised of Kappa Deltas from many universities residing in Utah.

The Utah Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Delta is open to all KD initiates living in the state of Utah. We strive to provide a variety of social and philanthropic events to meet the needs of our members. Our goal is to offer the opportunity for women to reconnect with Kappa Delta, network with each other, and build lasting friendships. Our alumnae chapter is comprised of sisters of all ages who are initi

ates of the collegiate chapters across the country. We have come together to build a sisterhood that extends well beyond the college experience. If you are new to the state or have lived here for a while, we look forward to meeting you!

KD Alumnae Council Spotlight 💚 Here’s Megan Buttars, our president!

What KD Chapter did you graduate from: Beta Delta, USU.

How long have you been on alumnae council/positions you’ve served? On and off council for the past 11 years. Served as President and Programming VP.

Where are you now: (Location, career, other fun details and updates): Currently living in Bountiful, UT. I work at the Grand America & Little America Hotel in downtown SLC.

What are your current hobbies/interests: I am an avid reader. I read over 100 books last year and I’m not slowing down this year. I love spending quality time with my cute husband, friends, and many nieces and nephews.

Favorite KD Memory (collegiate/alumnae or both):
- Collegiate: Greek Week! I was the chair at the time and our theme was Monopoly (my ultimate favorite game).
- Alum: Going to National Convention with my fellow sisters from all over the Nation!!!

Favorite BD Reunion Memory: The impromptu after party in the hotel lobby. 😂

Fun fact about yourself: My in-laws own a Dairy farm in North Logan, at one time, I named our twin calves Kappa & Delta 💚
