🌪️ Siren Test 7/30/2026 🌪️
There have recently been some equipment upgrades in the county dispatch center. We also have a high probability of stormy skies on the normal siren test day, which would be this Saturday, August 1.
In coordination with Cass County Central Dispatch we will be doing a special test of the outdoor warning sirens tomorrow, July 30, at 10am.
This will take the place of the Saturday test and will serve to ensure all settings and setup are correct should the sirens be needed for a real world event this weekend.
It is possible multiple activations of certain sirens may occur as equipment and software settings are fine tuned.
There is no severe weather in the forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, July 30.
Any activations this weekend will be for real world emergencies.
