Friends - I wanted to share my heartfelt gratitude for the honor of your support and friendship. When we started this campaign, our goal was to focus relentlessly on the people of the First District and the issues of greatest import to them and the nation. So many of you agreed, joined us in the effort, and took this campaign to a historically close finish. That would not have been possible without you and the incredible team we brought together.

While our campaign ends, the need to address these issues continues. I have always said one need not to be elected to serve, and I look forward to seeing you as we work to make sure the critical issues we face - fiscal irresponsibility, national security, and strengthening the economy - get the attention they deserve.

On behalf of Lori, our children, and me, thank you again for being a part of our extended family. We are so grateful for the friends we’ve made and proud of the work we’ve done.
