JOIN US AT THE LORAIN COUNTY FAIR !!
The 180th Lorain County Fair begins Monday August 24th, and the Lorain County Republican Party will once again be there to meet and greet voters and introduce them to our candidates in person and via their campaign literature. Our booth is in building 19 also known as “Fair Hall”, which is where we were located last year as well.

In addition to hosting local candidates whose names will be on the November ballot in Lorain County, on Thursday, August 27th we will be hosting Republican candidate for Ohio Governor, Vivek Ramaswamy at our booth at about 6:00pm. We are also attempting to make arrangements for Vivek to address a larger crowd at another location on the Fairgrounds where fairgoers will have an opportunity to hear Vivek outline his vision for Ohio as its next governor. If you have not previously heard Vivek in person you should do yourself a favor and plan to be at the Fair Thursday evening to meet and listen to Vivek.

Our Republican Party’s focus at the Fair this year is to encourage Republicans and like minded independents to show up and vote for our Republican ticket this fall. To encourage voters to show up for the November election we are having a very special drawing. Every person who is eighteen years old or older who signs our “I Pledge to Vote in November” form, will be eligible to enter a drawing where the grand winner will win a twenty inch by thirty inch limited edition portrait, depicting President Trump the instant a bullet passed through his ear in Butler Pennsylvania in 2024. The Lorain County Republican Party has previously sold two of these portraits at auction for over three thousand dollars each. Whoever wins this portrait will own a piece of history that will be remembered for generations to come.

A reminder to all veterans and seniors who are sixty-five or older. Thursday, you get free admission to the Fair. The normal admission fee is ten dollars per person. So, not only will you have the opportunity to meet and greet Republican candidates, you can get into the Fair for free on Thursday. The address of the Fairgrounds is: 2300 Fairgrounds Road, Wellington, Ohio. Fairgrounds Road is off of State Route 18, about one mile west of State Route 58. The Fair hours are 10:00am to 10:00pm daily.

It is now FINAL! Vivek WILL BE AT THE FAIR ON THURSDAY AUGUST 27TH AT 6:00PM. COIA Sales is located at the northeast end of the racetrack next to Gate 11 and they have graciously agreed to host Vivek in their outdoor display area. Just look for the orange Kubota implements and you will find the COIA display area. We are asking all who attend to PLEASE not obstruct the walk/drive way in front of the COIA display are as we are told the Fair will shut down the event if this happens. There is a great deal of open space within the COIA area so PLEASE move in and use that space. Looking forward to SEE YOU AT THE FAIR!!
