Buried Under the Blue is the history of Palo Verde,La Loma,and Bishop these are the three indigenous communities forgotten, wrongly, and violently evicted from their homes. All thr

ee of these communities were established before the Dodger Stadium was built, for this reason many members from the old communities reject them. The indigenous communities of the past like Palo Verde,La Loma,and Bishop to our present day indigenous communities are still suffering from gentrification and lack of basic resources.

Hold your and the city accountable for the destruction of three communities to build the . Our communities are still being
gentrified today by Dodgers corporation, along with them investing your brown dollars against brown bodies and in private prison sector GEO, civiccore, palantir = ICE. In addition to facial recognition technology inside the stadium. The same technology ICE is using.

You can't be against ICE and funding it while being inside the Dodger Stadium.

Dodger Stadium, during Mexican Heritage Night, Dolores Huerta is throwing out the first pitch.

For months, we tried to reach out before this moment. We sent letters. Messages. Made calls. We asked for one thing: solidarity with the descendants of Palo Verde, La Loma, and Bishop — the three Mexican communities violently displaced for Dodger Stadium.

Our families picked fields to buy that land during segregation. My family was dragged from their home on May 8, 1959.

So this is the question: what does solidarity actually mean?

Because you cannot celebrate brown culture while ignoring brown displacement. You cannot claim to stand with immigrant communities while remaining silent about investments connected to ICE and surveillance systems harming those same communities.

And this conversation is bigger than one person. Right now, many brown influencers, organizations, and public figures are being challenged about transparency, political accountability, and who they ultimately serve.

Our communities deserve better than symbolism.

We deserve truth.
We deserve accountability.
And Palo Verde, La Loma, and Bishop deserve to be named.

Memorial Day our families served in the military only to come home and have their communities violently destroyed and generational wealth stolen.

Tomorrow Dodgers corporation will celebrate " Mexican Heritage Night " No Apology, No Acknowledgement, and No Reparations for the familias

Just a bunch of disrespect and buy our products and merchandise so we can invest back into locking up brown people.
