The TubBuddy with Tilt SB2T transfer system will turn your existing bathtub or curbed shower into an accessible bathroom that allows you to enjoy showering again without the high cost, delay, and stress of a complete bathroom remodel.
The TubBuddy SB2T alleviates heavy lifting and multiple transfers.
This chair is separated into three sections; rolling base (shower chair), bridge, and tub base. The Showerbuddy chair rolls around the house like a wheelchair allowing patients to transfer onto it easily.
Once in the bathroom, the SB2T can roll over most toilets.
Once completed with toileting, the rolling base connects to the tub base allowing the chair to slide into the tub or shower in a tilt preventing the patient from lifting their legs over and into the tub.
Once inside the tub/shower, the rolling base and bridge can be disconnected and rolled away so that the shower curtain can be closed or allow a caregiver the option to get closer to the patient.
A custom bridge may be required if a toilet is too close or far from the tub.
The TubBuddy SB2T is a caregiver-assisted product; one may not use it independently.
