There is a clear need for a dedicated, single platform public safety communication system in Los Angeles county. The threats facing the region, both man-made and natural, as well as the requirement for day to day routine communication amongst agencies represent the true justification for LA-RICS. Our network is designed to handle both the extreme and the day to day needs of our region’s First Resp

onders. The reliability and functionality we provide allows our First Responders to be better coordinated, more prepared, and safer; which ultimately translates into safer communities protected by better equipped and informed public safety personnel.
