Landmine Relief Fund

Landmine Relief Fund We clear landmines and unexploded ordinance, build and supply schools (46 so far), and teach sustainable organic farming. https://www.landmine-relief-fund.com/

This organization was founded by Bill and Jill Morse, an American couple who now live in Siem Reap and help manage LMRF. In 2003 Bill was asked to make a donation to support a young Cambodian man named Aki Ra who was clearing landmines with a stick and had opened up a small Landmine Museum in his home. Bill was so intrigued that he decided to travel to Cambodia to meet Aki Ra and offer his assistance. After returning home to the US he started a charity to fund Aki Ra and his projects.

The work doesn't stop at the minefield.

Our Explosive Ordnance Risk Education teams have been delivering supplies to the communities they serve: bags, clothing, soap, scarves, blankets, and most importantly, educational materials. It's important that the knowledge our teams share keeps spreading.

CSHD's teams are out in villages across Cambodia almost every day making the land safer and the people stronger. This is just one more way we show up fully.

Thrilled to share these pictures from WholeFitCambodia's recent collaboration with គម្រោងដើម្បីយើងទាំងអស់គ្នា The together project

This past week, Boran Phin introduced sustainable, organic nutrition education into the latest round of teacher training, and it was a lot of fun!

Teachers got hands on experience with hydroponics, mushroom farming, and traditional gardening, because the truth is, nutrition is just as important as physical education. You can't build a strong body on an empty or malnourished one.

These wonderful educators are the ones who will bring this knowledge back into their classrooms and communities across Cambodia, and we couldn't be more excited to work alongside them, and there is so much more to come!

Keep an eye out around Siem Reap for our new Land Mine Relief Fund advertisements on the backs of tuk tuks! These hardworking drivers help keep the city moving every day, so if you ride with one, consider leaving a little extra tip to support them and their families!

Also sharing a few photos from our recent school visit in Pkampong Phluk. Seeing the joy and energy on these children’s faces reminds us why this work matters so much! Thank you to everyone who continues to support these community projects and help create brighter futures across Cambodia.
