Happy National Run for Office Day! We're honored to join Run for Something Civics in celebrating the everyday leaders who step up to run for local office.
At a time when national politics consume so much of Americans' time and attention, it's easy to forget that the elected leaders who have the greatest impact on our lives often aren't in Congress or the White House – they're right here in our communities.
Even if the filing window has already passed where you live, today is a great moment to think about the future. Maybe the next great public servant in your community is someone you know, and they just need a push from someone like you. Or maybe the next great public servant IS you.
