God told us to go to the darkest part of the city On Nov. 25th 2011, the 5 Breads and 2 Fish project began inside a parking lot on Omar Ave. in LA’s Skid Row District. Serving over 5000 meals on the first day (VIDEO), it quickly became evident that a more suitable location was required to meet the needs of the community. On January 15th, 2012 the 5 Breads and 2 Fish Restaurant opened on 500 S. San Pedro St. The restaurant was open 7 days a week and served 2500+ meals a day. Each guest was greeted with a simple message: "Thanks For Coming", "Meals On Jesus". From the darkest places to the poorest places Sadly, the restaurant is temporarily closed while we search for a new building. In the mean time, a decision was made to move forward in serving the community using the resources God has provided. With over 2 million dollars in annual food donations from partners including Trader Joe’s, Sprouts Del Cabo and Ralph’s, 5 Breads and 2 Fish began holding food drives serving the greater Los Angeles region as well as Ensenada Mexico.(VIDEO) Food drives are held 6 days a week and provide 830,000 meals annually. God continues to bless and has opened the door for a 5 Breads ans 2 Fish ministry in San Diego.

FRIDAY FOOD DRIVE..

We will go back to the original location under the big trees with cozy shades. We do not have to do our food drive under the scorching sun...no more!

We are one of the first groups who were wearing masks even before the quarantine. Some of the pictures were taken before the time of social distance regulation.

We’ve been doing our Food Drive more than 10 years till now.

Honestly, we did not know what to do when the severe virus started to spread. Many organizations closed down. But we could not stop our food drive operation because we knew that more than minimum of 600 families(around 2,400 family members) per week had been depending for their basic nutrition supplies on us.

It is the time that people need help the most.

We are doing our best to overcome this crisis together.

We were never short of food even when the shelves in the grocery stores were empty because of the panic buying.

We are getting more and more to share with everyone even in desperate time like this.

It is evident that our God is more than sufficient all the time as He promised!

If you concern about our health which is our common interest, please do not just talk about it but to join us for glorious cause!

It is easier for someone who can stay at home for several weeks without contacting any potential threats.

But for someone, it is necessary to go out and do everything to help to feed their families with no job nor any savings.

In time like this, as bleak uncertainty,
we must let the light of God shine more
with the name of Jesus Christ our lord and Savior!

We are together as one body!
No body is left behind.

Continual donations of gloves, masks, and sanitizers that are in absolute need.
Because of this unfortunate season of Corona 19 virus.

Please do not be shy to input your heart with unstoppable passion.

The beauty of true serving is to share something that is so important and so useful for you too.

We do not share the leftover or something useless for us.

God allowed us the most precious, the one and only son, Jesus Christ.

Just as our good lord Jesus taught us..
It’s how we keep our attitudes like...

We serve each other as we do it to ourselves! Preach the love of our God with your life style..today!

Yes. our God is merciful.

These are our prayer requests.

Oh, our Lord God all mighty, if there is someone you have to use now.

Let it be us.

We are here to obey your calling with all our heart and soul and with all our strength.

Let us serve whoever in needs, according to your sight, oh, God.

We are in desperate measure of promised end times.

We believe you, lord our God.

You left no one who is seeking the justice or the righteousness of God

(Nehemiah 9:31)
But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful

Use all of us as ‘last man standing’ in troubled world for your glory.

Let us never stop until the final breath..
in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray.

Our hearts were troubled each time when it was pouring rain. Because we know the difficulties for people to come to the spot where our food drive were taking places.

And of course It is not easy for all of us that include the volunteers to work in rainy days too.

Either it’s pouring rain or not, we know some families are in desperate needs of basic food supplies. We saw many grandparents used to wait for us from 2-3 hours or longer, way before our scheduled times.

That’s why we never miss the food drive schedule at any circumstance for more than 10 years straight till now.

That is how the glorious accountability of the ministry is withstanding till now! Our Lord Jesus keep his promises with our food drive families unconditionally!

That is why everyone come to the food drive either it’s rain or shine.

God’s kingdom family never failed them.

(2 Corinthian 4:6-7)
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us

We understand that God our Father sent us as the light of the city!

No one is abandoned except Jesus on the cross.

Thank you for coming. Meals on Jesus.

Oaks of Righteousness Ministry, 5 breads and 2 fish had been doing this for more than 10 years now.

We have operated 7 days a week, never closed even one day for more than 10 years straight until mow...Nor any lack of food. We are serving 80,000 meal portions of groceries a week.

Our mighty Father God allows us enough grace to share with everyone. He remembers you. You are important to Him. That was shown on the cross that Jesus was crucified..!

Let no one be left out.. specially at critical time like this as corona 19 virus is swapping the nations.

We will stand together..(with proper conditions as masked, sanitized, 6ft apart) We will fight back together with actions of love!!

Rescetly, we’ve got some donations of goves and masks but we need much more.

Now, we only can provide masks and gloves to our volunteers but we want to distribute them to everyone who comes to our Food Drive.

Around 600 to 700 masks per week would be okay for now. We need a lot more hand sanitizers too. Please pray with us.

Sure, we want to keep everyone safe including our teams.

Every day, even though there’s heavy rain or scorching sun, people in need come to get some food for their families. That is why we never stop serving them in the name of Jesus Christ.

The groceries that we are sharing are good enough for 4 family members for 7 days. It is critically important for someone who’s in absolute need.

May God protects all of us from the fear and from any harmful nature. May God protect our heart from losing the hope.

God bless all our team leaders and beautiful volunteers in Los Angeles.

03/23/2020

We proclaim the day of the Lord’s vengeance!

I already knew, but when we were evicted from Father’s warehouse in Los Angeles, in the first days what happened, I had lots of difficulties and I felt that I was running very fast on sharp rocks. After Mr. White. the most generous gentleman(I always call him grandpa), who was the owner of warehouse was affectionate with us. He was one of the most compassionated supporters for us. But after he passed way, we lost in the lawsuit against the bank that has the right to do it.
We tried to get a house for the staff, not to sleep in dangerous places, never stop taking meals. I heard missionary Julie saying “I love you.” laughing and crying at the same time behind the phone.
I don’t know how much I cried on the train that went from one city to another without having time to catch my breath because of pastor Jimmy’s lecture in Korea.
We are looking for a house that has more than 4 rooms for the staff to live in. Meanwhile, at most 6 months, we will all live in a clean house with furniture.
At the same time, we are looking for a warehouse that we could use.
I remember very well, that God sent us to Brazil empty-handed, and while we obeyed Him, he made us buy a very big place that is worth of US$ 1,000,000.
I remember what Jesus said.

“Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” (John 16:23)

Thank God, the funding has been gathering more than usual from the day you leave the warehouse. The rain that God brings down in time revives the soul and makes it clear that no one can deny that He is always with us.
The food that comes in every day is still stable, and the smiles of those who accept the food and the volunteers who serve with pleasure wherever we go are even more appreciated. Although we could not sorting the food in advance in the warehouse, it’s not bad to see the volunteers do it at the food drive.
Wherever I was, my heart was with my family in Los Angeles who were kicked out from the place they were used to sleep, and suddenly a laugh burst out. This is because I realized that no matter how bad the situation is, it is better than sleeping in Father’s warehouse where you can see all kind of bugs and huge rats wandering around. I was surprised and laughed at the fact that they will have toilets, a clean shower, a rat-free kitchen and flea-free bedrooms.
I thought we were kicked out, but we knew we were already in Canaan.
It is one of the fruits of these days through this painful path that those who are afraid and those who do not believe leave the ministry, and those who are faithful in the Lord will keep each other in faith and stay together until the end. The warriors of faith who proved themselves in the days of hard work.
This did not happen because our staff members who shared tens of thousands of foods a week with all their heart, mind and soul without any salary. We declare that today is the day when the Lord looks deeply into our hearts and souls with justice and righteousness.
After a few weeks, we need to remove the items from the warehouse, we also need a place to store the items. We will take whatever we need the most only.
Just as the paths diverge and meet again, there may be thoughts that seem to be unrelated to each other but that are solidified with one intention. In many thoughts, depending on what you hold firmly and keep in faith, it seems to form the new way of thinking.
We’re not trying to keep the warehouse, or we’re not going to worry about losing a car or a machine. It is only in the name of Jesus that we stay in even to risk our own lives.

Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”(John 9:58)

We proceed the journey that is no place to lay our head, we only are looking forward to see the glory of God. Today, even if we lay on the stone pillows and fall asleep under the stars, only Heavenly Father is our God.
Praise be to our beloved family of oaks of righteousness and God to bring this wonderful path of faith to us. Today, We declare the day of the Lord’s vengeance!
