🇺🇸 250 Years Later… The Promise Endures.
Today, the United States marks 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
The ideals proclaimed in 1776—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—set a course that has shaped our country for generations. Yet the work of building a more just, compassionate, and inclusive nation has never been finished.
At the Humane Party, we believe the United States is strongest when it continues to grow: expanding justice, rejecting cruelty, protecting the vulnerable, stewarding the environment responsibly, and building a future where compassion guides public policy for people, animals, and the planet alike.
As we recognize this historic milestone, we honor those who have helped move our country closer to its highest ideals, and we recommit ourselves to the work still ahead.
