สภาหอการค้าไทยอเมริกันแห่งแคลิฟอร์เนีย และนักธุรกิจไทย ร่วมกันต้อนรับสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรสหรัฐฯ Judy Chu พบปะนักธุรกิจไทยใน Orange County และ Los Angeles

เมื่อวันที่ 5 กันยายน 2026 ที่ผ่านมา สภาหอการค้าไทยอเมริกันแห่งแคลิฟอร์เนีย และนักธุรกิจไทย ให้การต้อนรับ Judy Chu สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรสหรัฐอเมริกา (U.S. Representative) จากรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย เขตเลือกตั้งที่ 28 ในโอกาสพบปะพูดคุยอย่างเป็นกันเองกับนักธุรกิจไทยในพื้นที่ Orange County และ Los Angeles County ณ ร้านบ้านใบตอง เมือง Lake Forest

Judy Chu ได้รับเลือกเข้าสู่สภาผู้แทนราษฎรสหรัฐฯ ตั้งแต่ปี 2009 และเป็น สตรีเชื้อสายจีนคนแรกในประวัติศาสตร์ที่ได้รับเลือกเข้าสู่รัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ ก่อนหน้านี้เธอเคยดำรงตำแหน่งในระดับท้องถิ่นและรัฐหลายตำแหน่ง รวมถึงสมาชิกสภาเมืองและนายกเทศมนตรีเมือง Monterey Park สมาชิกสภารัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย และ California State Board of Equalization ปัจจุบันเธอยังทำหน้าที่ใน House Ways and Means Committee** ซึ่งดูแลประเด็นสำคัญด้านภาษี รายได้ของรัฐบาล Social Security และ Medicare รวมถึง House Budget Committee อีกด้วย

ประเด็นสำคัญที่มีการหารือครอบคลุมทั้งเรื่อง กฎระเบียบทางธุรกิจ การขอใบอนุญาตและเอกสารจากหน่วยงานรัฐบาล การนำเข้า–ส่งออก ตลอดจนอัตราภาษีนำเข้า (Tariff) ที่แตกต่างกันตามประเภทสินค้าและพิกัดศุลกากร รวมถึงการกำชับและให้คำแนะนำแก่ผู้นำเข้าให้ตรวจสอบสิทธิและดำเนินการ ยื่นขอคืนอากรหรือเงินคืนในกรณีที่เข้าเงื่อนไขตลอดจน Trade Code และขั้นตอนต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสินค้านำเข้า ซึ่งล้วนส่งผลโดยตรงต่อต้นทุนและการดำเนินธุรกิจของผู้ประกอบการไทยในสหรัฐอเมริกา

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการหารือถึง ปัญหาการขาดแคลนแรงงานในภาคธุรกิจ รวมถึงประเด็นด้านวีซ่าการทำงาน เช่น H-1B และวีซ่าประเภทต่าง ๆ** ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจ้างงานและการดำเนินธุรกิจในสหรัฐอเมริกา

อีกหนึ่งกรณีที่ได้รับการนำเสนอ คือผู้ประกอบการร้านอาหารที่ดำเนินการขออนุญาตมานานกว่า **หนึ่งปีครึ่ง** แต่ยังไม่สามารถเปิดธุรกิจได้ เนื่องจากติดขัดในขั้นตอนของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดย Judy Chu และทีมงานได้ให้คำแนะนำ พร้อมรับเรื่องเพื่อช่วยประสานงานและติดตามแนวทางแก้ไขในแต่ละกรณี

Thai Entertainment Forum 2026 เชื่อม Hollywood สู่ประเทศไทย

สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส จัดงาน “Thai Entertainment Forum 2026” ระหว่างวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2569 เพื่อเชื่อมโยงอุตสาหกรรมบันเทิงไทยกับ Hollywood ผลักดันคอนเทนต์ไทยสู่ตลาดโลก และดึงดูดสตูดิโอ ผู้ผลิต และกองถ่ายจากสหรัฐฯ ให้เข้ามาลงทุนและถ่ายทำในประเทศไทยมากขึ้น

งานนำ 3 บริษัทไทย ได้แก่ Matching Maximize Solution, GMMTV และ NOB Productions พบปะเจรจากับสตูดิโอ สตรีมมิ่ง นักลงทุน และผู้จัดจำหน่ายในสหรัฐฯ พร้อมจัดสัมมนาที่ Directors Guild of America (DGA) ในนครลอสแอนเจลิส โดยมีผู้แทนจากวงการบันเทิงสหรัฐฯ เข้าร่วมกว่า 300 คน

ทีมสภาหอการค้าฯ ได้รับโอกาสเชิญแขกจำนวน 30 ท่าน จากวงการภาพยนตร์ โทรทัศน์ แอนิเมชัน รวมถึงตัวแทนจาก Disney Studios และสตูดิโอต่าง ๆ ในลอสแอนเจลิส เข้าร่วมสร้างเครือข่ายกับผู้ประกอบการไทย

ภายในงานยังนำเสนอศักยภาพของประเทศไทยในฐานะ Global Filming Destination โดยยกตัวอย่างผลงานระดับโลก เช่น Alien: Earth, Jurassic World: Rebirth และ The White Lotus Season 3 ที่เลือกประเทศไทยเป็นสถานที่ถ่ายทำ

ในปี 2568 ประเทศไทยมีกองถ่ายต่างประเทศเข้ามาถึง 546 โปรดักชันสร้างเม็ดเงินกว่า 7,717 ล้านบาท โดยเฉพาะจากสหรัฐฯ กว่า 4,344 ล้านบาท ยังไม่รวมรายได้ต่อเนื่องจากการจ้างงาน โรงแรม ร้านอาหาร การเดินทาง และการท่องเที่ยว
