Arizona: Once and for all, let me be clear. Homosexuality is not a choice just like being white, male or brown eyed. Therefore, providing protections to businesses to exercise their religious beliefs in the way they provide services to gay people does not even apply. If it did, we would be opening up all kinds of conversations of second class citizenship. The Old Testament has references to a woman's subservience, the use of slaves and vilification of Jews. The fact that ANY sentient and conscious person could even entertain such a protection is attempting to use civil discourse to practice bigotry. Pure and Simple. I could only imagine what people would say if we proposed claiming religious protections to refuse serving an in*******al couple or lending to a black business owner. Arizona - wake up before you run your state into financial ruin.
