Please, don't feed the coyotes in the condo construction site in West Hollywood. Someone threw raw chicken over the fence today. The coyotes took it and ate it inside the condos. This will make the problem worse. The owner is allegedly contacting a pest control company to remove the coyotes. We offered our services for free but no reply. We don't know what the pest control company will do to the coyotes. We hope it will be humane. Hopefully they will better secure the site and the coyotes will leave while they do that work.

We were interviewed by NBC, CBS, ABC and KCAL 9 today at the construction site with the coyote pack. We spoke for probably 30 minutes and there is only one clip where I state "people should keep their small pets inside." Turns out the other stations included more of what we said. We said the coyotes should be excluded and deterred from the property. We contacted the owners and still haven't heard back as of yet.

California Fish and Wildlife said it will only get involved *if the coyote poses a threat to public safety.” Alex Rozier reports for the NBC4 News at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2026.

Some photos from the construction site with coyotes in West Hollywood on Spaulding and Romaine. We will hopefully be doing humane nuisance wildlife control to exclude and deter the coyotes.

We’re in West Hollywood at Romaine and Spaulding at the construction site which has a pack of coyotes living inside. We’re gathering evidence so we can submit a humane plan to exclude and deter the coyotes from the property. The reason is because some want to kill the coyotes.

Just attended a seminar titled "Street Veterinary Medicine: Providing Veterinary Care to Unhoused Pet Families" given by Canadian Animal Shelter And Community Medicine Association in Canadian Animal Shelter And Community Medicine Association with Dr. Kwane Stewart, Dr Kristen Schmidt and Project Street Vet. The purpose is to educate veterinarians, vet techs and volunteers on how to properly care for pets in unhoused families. I took great notes and will write an article late which I'll share here. All account restrictions were removed. We were finally able to appeal the restrictions caused by sharing a post from Ojai. The appeal is still under review. Our account is back to normal.

We shared one post from The Ojai Raptor Center about Jackie the eagle. Facebook falsely flagged it as a "cyber security threat." Their post didn't even have any links except to their page. It was a very polite post. In the meantime Ojai and anyone who shares the link gets their account features disabled. Hopefully Facebook will fix this glitch.
