Granny’s Birth Initiative is ready to grow into a birth center — and The Birth Center Equity Network (BCE) agrees! BCE works to ensure every community has access to birth centers by providing the support, resources, and mentorship needed to achieve accreditation.

🗓️ The budget ordinance will be discussed November 6 at 4:30 PM.

📧 Email your Councilmember — ask them to increase GBI’s allocation to support the South Louisville Birth Center.

Bonnie Knows Breast and The Business of Breastfeeding is calling for Women & BIPOC makers/vendors local to the Louisville, KY area for two upcoming events!

The first event opportunity is the Holiday Open House at Bonnie Knows Breast on Sunday, November 30th from 2pm - 5pm. The event attendees will be mainly local new parents.

The second opportunity is the Sip & Shop at the conclusion of the Business of Breastfeeding Lactation Summit at the University of Louisville Conference Center Founders Union on Tuesday, February 3rd from 6pm - 8pm. The event attendees will be mainly birth and lactation industry professionals from the region and beyond.

We ask that vendor applicants be local to the Kentuckiana area and identify as women and/or as BIPOC.

Goods sold must be hand made. We will not be accepting any MLMs/ direct selling/network marketing vendors (such as Amway, doTerra, Scentsy, etc.)

Packaged food is allowed at the November 30th Holiday Open House only, and only with a health department license to sell.

If you're interested please fill out our vendor interest form and a Bonnie Knows Breast team member will get back to you within about 1 week.
