Thompson Education Foundation Thompson Education Foundation supports exceptional educational experiences for students and staff in Thompson School District, Loveland, CO.

Led by Executive Director Kim Akeley-Charron, TEF is the community's best answer to support opportunities in TSD. Thompson Education Foundation manages funds that support a variety of educational initiatives in the Thompson School District. Some of programs supported include:

Great Idea and Founders Grants - Classroom and school grants up to $2,000

Help Kids Succeed - The annual school supply

program that provides supply stuffed backpacks for students of need each year. Each year, TEF volunteers prepare 1,500+ backpacks for students/families that need a little help with back to school

Music & Arts - Provides funding for music and arts programs K-12

Homeless Assistance - Support for TSD's homeless students and unaccompanied youth in their effort to attend school each day

Elementary Field Trips - Supports curriculum based field trips for every 2nd and 4th grade student in the district

Educator Appreciation - Honors & Celebrates educators with the annual Educator of the Year Awards and Educator Appreciation Breakfast

Scholarships - Facilitates over $200,000 in scholarships for graduating students each year

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May. It is also considered to be the unofficial beginning of summer.
We thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
