K14KQ is an FCC licensed low power television station located in Lovelock, Nevada. It is owned by the Pershing County School District and operated by staff and students. Students have not only produced, directed, edited, filmed, and acted in nearly hundreds of productions over the years, but they have gained valuable real world work experience in the

every day operations of a PBS television station. This experience has been exciting and has included the acquisition of many skills: seeking and producing underwriting ads, publishing our monthly viewer’s guide, creating local announcements, scheduling fund raising events, and managing operational budgets.
