April 7: fall 2014 class registration starts. So you need to make an appointment to meet with your advisor to pick your classes for the fall semester.

May 1: MCC Financial Aid application priority deadline. It is important that you apply by the priority deadline so that you get all the financial aid possible.

Are you looking for a part time job? How about an opportunity to work for MCC?

If you visit the MCC employment opportunities website, there are 3 part-time staff positions open. A lot of you are good candidates for any of these positions, especially those of you on your second year at MCC who have 1) taken English comp or above, 2) who have been involved in some kind of leadership role at the college, and 3) who have previous work experience.

You would need a strong professional application with a good resume and a cover letter. If you qualify and you are serious about applying for this position, I can help you with the application process, the resume, and the cover letter.

If anything, this would be a great opportunity for you to experience the process of applying for a job that requires a professional cover letter and a good resume. We would go through the job descriptions to see if you qualify and are a good fit for the position.

The deadline is December 23rd. So we would have to start working on it now.

Let me know.
