We here at the department would like to congratulate Spencer Renew from Scotland, GA on winning our Husqvarna chainsaw giveaway! We also would like to thank everyone to contributed in buying tickets and giving donations! With all your help we were able to raise over $800 to go towards buying equipment and other much needed items that the department needs! Again, congratulations Spencer and thank every single one of you!

Lumber City Firefighter's Association will be selling raffle tickets for a brand new Husqvarna 240 chainsaw. Ticket prices are $2 for 1 ticket or $5 for 3 tickets. The drawing for the chainsaw will be held on February 12, 2018 at the Lumber City Fire Department located in Lumber City, GA. We would like to congratulate Firefighter Shamar Wilcox on being awarded the 2017 Lumber City Firefighter of the Year Award! Shamar completely his Registered Volunteer Firefighter class and has showed great poise and attitude between running calls and training week in and week out! We couldn't think of a greater candidate to receive this award! Keep up the hard work Shamar!
